DTM eSports Championship 2024 Revs Up with Star-Studded VIP Race at Essen Motor Show
Community Participants to Compete Against Pro Drivers and SimRacers in a Thrilling Kickoff Event
The world of virtual racing gears up for an electrifying start as the DTM eSports Championship 2024 announces a VIP race at the Essen Motor Show, set to take place on 2 December 2023. This race is a tantalising preview of the much-anticipated Simracing championship, which officially begins in January 2024.
Located at the ADAC stand in Hall 3, the event will commence at 14:30 and feature a diverse line-up of 12 racers. This includes seasoned professionals from DTM and ADAC GT4 Germany, influencers, and top performers from the RaceRoom community. The VIP race roster boasts notable figures such as presenter and influencer Sidney Hoffmann, DTM driver Sandro Holzem, ADAC GT4 Germany Vice Champion Dennis Bulatov, and racer Nico Hantke. Joining them are racing driver Patricija Stalidzane and renowned drifter Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni. Additionally, three community racers have earned their spots through a competitive online contest.
This prestigious race marks the kickoff for the DTM eSports Championship 2024. Beginning in January, Simracers can qualify for the championship, which spans from early March to late April. The event will consist of six championship races, culminating in the crowning of the DTM eSports Champion 2024.
